Faridabad

Faridabad is a large city in the north Indian state of Haryana. It lies just southeast of New Delhi. The Raja Nahar Singh Palace is a renovated 18th-century landmark with elaborate arches. The city has 2 public rose gardens, including one near the Nahar Singh cricket stadium. North of Faridabad, framed by the Aravalli Hills, is the 10th-century Surajkund reservoir, which collects rain during monsoon season.
